Note: From a water balance perspective, summer maximum temperatures canbe considered an index of increased pumping from the Edwards Aquifer, while precipitation can be considered an index of recharge to the aquifer. Withina few years, both daily pumping and daily recharge data are expected to be available to replace temperature and precipitation indices on the above graphs.
